Law firm located in North York is seeking to hire a Commercial Litigation law clerk.
- Assist lawyers with all aspects of commercial litigation files
- Draft and manage legal documents, pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence
- Prepare motion records, trial briefs, and court filings
- Manage document production, undertakings, and discovery processes
- Communicate with clients, experts, and court staff with professionalism and tact
- Organize and maintain files to ensure deadlines are met with accuracy
Skills/Experience
- Graduate of a recognized Ontario Law Clerk program (ILCO certified)
- 3+ years of experience as a Law Clerk in commercial litigation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
