Corporate Associate – Barrie Permanent NEW

Full service law firm is growing! The team is looking to add a Corporate Associate lawyer. Ideally you reside in Barrie or are from Barrie (or surrounding area).

The Role

• Advise clients on incorporations, corporate reorganizations, and business structuring
• Lead and support transactions involving private placements, financings, and mergers and acquisitions
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements
• Work closely with clients across various industries to support their legal and business needs
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas, including real estate, tax, and employment law

Skills/ Experience

• 8 years of experience in corporate/commercial law, ideally in private practice
• A member in good standing with the OBA
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage files independently while also contributing to a team environment
• An entrepreneurial spirit: strong interpersonal, communication, and networking abilities
• A client-first mindset with a commitment to delivering practical, effective legal solutions
