Client Intake – Account Receivable – Law firm Permanent

Fabulous law firm located downtown Toronto is growing!

They are looking to hire a Client Intake clerk and who is also experienced with Accounts Receivable.

Responsibilities:

Client Communication

• Act first point of contact for new clients, coordinating the various steps of the intake process

• Correspond with new clients via e-mail and/or via telephone gathering pertinent information

• Schedule intake meetings with lawyers to assess client needs

• Follow up with clients to collect necessary paperwork, documentation and information as required

• Respond to client inquiries and requests over the phone and via e-mail

• Set up new client files in the firm’s database system

• Preparing client information for preliminary assessment by lawyers

• Assist with Accounts Receivable as needed

Education/ Skills

• 1 plus years’ experience working in a law firm setting as a client intake clerk
• 1 plus years’ experience working with accounts receivable
• graduate of a legal assistant or accounting program
• excellent communication skills – written and verbal – in english
• experienced using Outlook, Pro Law (will train re Pro Law)
