Condo Real Estate Legal Assistant Permanent

Fabulous full service firm located downtown Toronto is growing! The firm is looking to add a Real Estate legal assistant with a focus on Condos. The firm offers: competitive compensation, full benefits, hybrid work arrangement and career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Completing expense reports, open files, photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing and creation of file folders
• Create documents and correspondence through transcription and copy-typing
• Photocopy and/or organize documents for distribution, mailing and binding
• Pre-bills for monthly billing, as needed
• Organize, maintain and accurately file correspondence, invoices and receipts via paper and digital formats
• Eliminate unnecessary or outdated materials transferring inactive files to storage according to file maintenance guidelines

Skills required:          

• Legal Assistant Diploma, 5  years experience working within the real estate practice area in a law firm and condo experience is a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Team player, with the ability to build relationships and provide strong customer service.
• Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Teraview and Conveyancer.
• Solid transcription and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently, following instructions with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn workflow schemes and in-house processes.
• Hands on with experience with pre-billing administration (preferably 3E)
• Familiarity working within a DMS system is an asset.
