Family Law Associate Lawyer (Yonge and Bloor) Permanent

Wonderful full law firm located near Yonge and Bloor is opening it’s doors!  The firm is seeking a Family law Associate lawyer to join their team! Firm offers: mentorship, career growth and other perks.

Candidates should be a 2025 call (at a minimum) and have 1 plus years’ experience practicing family law in ON and be a member in good standing with the ON Bar Association.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law cases dealing with complex property, income imputation, support, and custody/access issues
• Appear before Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice on conferences, motions and trials dealing with family law issues
• Draft pleadings, factums, briefs, affidavits, and other court materials for submissions in family law cases
• Negotiate favourable settlement by taking client-focused approach and strategic planning of each case

Required:

• Member in good standing with the Ontario Bar
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written in English
• Have 1 to 5 years’ of experience working with family law files in Ontario
