Responsibilities Include  

• Provide support to 2 professionals.
• Prepare and edit legal correspondence as well as legal documents
• Scheduling meetings and maintaining the professionals’ calendar
• Client contact
• Filing and file maintenance
• Other duties as required

Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience working with Family Law files
• Legal Assistant Diploma **law clerk certification considered an asset
• Solid understanding of Family Law Rules and court filing processes
• Familiar with the ON Rules of Civil Procedure
• Proficient with PC Law, MS word and DivorceMate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Self starter who demonstrates initiative to complete required tasks
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team setting
